RSVP are based in East Anglia, England. They are known for their exciting blend of traditional music (from Britain, France, Spain and Italy) and their own material.

The band plays an unusual line-up of instruments. Those who expect to hear traditional dance music played on fiddle and squeeze-box may be surprised to also hear a bass guitar and an electronic drum machine, as well as hurdy-gurdy and bagpipes of French and Spanish origin

The resulting sound could loosely be called 'Euro Folk', an increasingly popular element of the music scene. The band play primarily for ceilidhs, where the dances are firmly rooted in the English tradition and well within the capabilities of anyone who simply wants to have a good time with friends and stangers alike Ceilidhs (often called a barn dance which is an American equivalent) are a blend of simple dances and infectious music making them an ideal for a lively entertaining function or event
