As they have developed, RSVP have been influenced, guided and encouraged by bands such as La Chavannee, Cock & Bull, Blowzabella, La Ciapa Rusa and Os Rosales. But this is not a 'tribute' band, playing tunes lifted from the obvious sources of 'Euro-folk'; it is a group of individuals each of whom has his or her own areas of musical interest, which makes for a unique repertoire and a style which they see as very much their own.
